During the call, I’ll ask about your travel goals, travel style, and interests. I’ll also explain my process and answer any questions you may have. If you’re not sure of your next destination, we can brainstorm together!

If you decide to work with Measured Miles Travel on designing your trip, I’ll send you our service agreement along with a payment link for my planning fee. Once I have received the signed agreement and payment, I’ll get started designing your personalized trip proposal!

When you receive your proposal, we can review it together and make any revisions needed to ensure it perfectly matches your vision. When you’re ready to move forward, I’ll guide you through the booking process, including making deposits and keeping track of final payment deadlines.

As your trip approaches, I’ll assist with securing dinner reservations and advance bookings for experiences, tours, and cultural sites. I’ll also help you navigate any visa requirements and provide helpful checklists so you feel fully prepared for your journey. Before you depart, you’ll receive your final itinerary and travel documents, and we’ll schedule a call to review everything together.

While you’re traveling, I remain available should any questions or issues arise. After you return home, I’ll send a brief survey - your feedback helps us continue improving our services for you and future travelers.

Yes. I charge a flat planning fee of $150 per trip, which covers the time and expertise involved in researching, designing, and managing your itinerary. This fee is non-refundable. If you’re looking for partial assistance, such as a hotel reservation or booking tours or experiences for an already planned trip, please reach out for a custom quote.

Booking a hotel through a travel advisor can often provide added perks such as potential room upgrades, early check-in, late check-out, and complimentary breakfast, typically at no additional cost to you. I’m also happy to help you find and book tours, excursions, and experiences that fit your interests. If needed, I can also arrange travel insurance to help protect your trip.

While the decision is ultimately yours, I always recommend purchasing travel insurance. It helps protect your investment if you need to cancel your trip and provides 24/7 support in case of unexpected situations while traveling. Depending on the policy, coverage may include medical emergencies, trip interruptions, lost baggage, missed connections, and more. Travel insurance can feel overwhelming, but I’m happy to recommend a plan that fits your trip and needs.
